Great Eastern to open 200 trainee positions
The insurer will also continue its management programme for university graduates.
Great Eastern will offer up to 200 traineeship positions for up to 12 months to graduates from the Institute of Technical Education, polytechnics, universities and other private institutions, according to a news release.
Trainees will be allowed to develop skills and industry experience under one of three tracks, namely digital and technology, business, or corporate and governance. Support will be given through structured on-the-job training, virtual coaching, and comprehensive e-learning programmes.
The insurer will also continue its corporate management associate programme to grant university graduates the pathway to accelerate their careers.
In addition, Great Eastern has opened its workforce for up to 1,000 people. Come June, the insurer will launch The Lifeproof Academy to offer complimentary financial planning and self-improvement lessons as well as mentorship to those interested in pursuing financial planning as a career.
