Here are the hot jobs in the digitising education sales sector
Course consultants and business development managers are expected to be in demand.
As Singapore’s education sector moves from traditional sales to digital-centric landscape, software and online education platforms are expected to gain ground whilst training courses and educational content will remain core products, according to recruitment firm Hays.
Driving the growth of this sector are sales personnel including course consultants, business development managers and directors, and sales executives with a strong track record within the industry, according to Grant Torrens, regional director at Hays Singapore.
“Furthermore, there is a growing trend of business-to-business transactions in the education space across Asia, and regional experience is required of sales persons to aid in the growth of market share for education providers headquartered in Singapore,” he said.
Hays Singapore added that employers in the education sector could learn from tech employers. “Most tech companies looking to provide competitive offer packages usually have in place a clear commission structure that may include up to six months of bonus,” said Grant.
