About 1,300 workers will be progressively relocated to the floating accommodations in batches over the next few weeks. They have undergone health checks and have also been informed about the round-the-clock medical assistance. Their temperature will also be checked twice a day.
Each room is provided with a kettle and cleaning kit and will accommodate only two to three occupants. Workers may leave their rooms for at least an hour each day. Occupants are also issued care packs containing masks, thermometers, snacks and instant beverages.
Wi-Fi access and SIM cards are also provided whilst meals are delivered directly to rooms.
