32.5% of millennials regret their chosen tertiary education

And 1 in 5 is now unsure of current career paths.

Two in ten or 22.2% of millennials don't know why they chose the career path they're in, survey firm Happi said.

According to a press release, one in three or 32.5% of Singapore millennials were unsure or regretted choosing their tertiary education.

"Regret and confusion surround the career choices of young Singaporeans," Happi said.

Given a second chance in selecting their career, healthcare attracted 18.1% of respondents, followed by banking & finance with 13.5%, and media & entertainment with 12.2%.

Happi founder Greg Lipper commented, "Although most of the respondents said they were driven by a passion for their career path and a lifelong knowledge of their desire for their chosen field, a significant number are also unsure how they ended up on the track they did - while a small portion even chose their path due to pressure from their parents."
