An increase in salary meanwhilewas the second most influential factor for respondents when deciding to change jobs. According to Michael Page, securing a pay rise was of particular importance to accounting and finance professionals. If business conditions continue to improve, the pressure on employers to offer competitive salaries will increase.
Another leading factor in the decision to change jobs is the opportunity to gain more seniority. Michael Page said that the prospect of gaining a more senior title was particularly attractive to professionals in the procurement and supply chain industry.
