540,000 SG youth to benefit from $300 top-up in May

The top-up is part of the Assurance Package enhancements included in the 2023 Budget.

About 540,000 Singaporeans aged 7 to 20 will receive a $300 one-off top-up to their Edusave account or Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) by the end of May this year, which they can use to pay for approved fees and enrichment programmes.

The top-up is part of the Assurance Package enhancements added to the country's 2023 Budget to provide families with support for their children's education-related expenses.

Parents of eligible recipients would receive an e-notification through their SingPass mobile app, whilst those who do not have one would get an SMS notification.
