
7 in 10 Singapore finance workers hopeful of big-time bonuses
They even expect that there'll be a bonus hike.
According to a survey by eFinancialCareers, financial services professionals in Singapore are expecting to reap the rewards when it comes to this year’s bonus pay-outs.
Almost three quarters (72%) believe they will receive a bonus. This makes Singapore’s outlook one of the most positive in the world when it comes to the amount of people expecting a bonus, second only to Hong Kong and Germany (83%).

According to a survey conducted by eFinancialCareers, the leading global financial services career website, half of survey participants (50%) say their bonus will increase compared to last year, and over a quarter (28%) expect a bonus that will match last year’s. Most cited personal performance (34%) or company performance (26%) for the main reasons they will receive a bonus increase.
Largely this means that 2013 could be financially very rewarding for financial services professionals in Singapore. Of those who said their basic pay had changed over the past year, nearly 9 in 10 (89%) reported an increase.
