
Chart of the Day: 1 in 2 Singapore bosses likely to boost staff headcount
But that's in 12 to 18 months.
According to a recent survey by Michael Page, staffing numbers for the second half of 2013 are anticipated to remain stable in Singapore, according to 55% of surveyed employers.
Of the companies that are expected to maintain headcount, 50% are likely to increase staff numbers in 12 to 18 months time.
During this period, some 35% of surveyed employers are expected to increase staff numbers and 45% anticipate boosting headcount by up to 5%, while 33% of survey respondents are likely to increase staff numbers by 10% to 15%. Surveyed employers will focus their hiring activity at the mid-level (56%).
