The government also enhanced the medical and dental benefits of civil servants.
Starting in October, eligible civil servants will receive a $500 annual benefit that they can use for health, growth, and well-being through the FlexiGrow programme.
In addition, the Public Service Division will also raise the cap for medical and dental benefits from 1 January 2025.
The subsidy cap for medical expenses at private clinics will increase from $20 to $50 per visit, whilst dental subsidies for private and public clinics will rise from $120 to $250 per year.
