Will it still be an employees' market this year?

According to Achieve Group's Hiring Trends Report 1H 2014, the top sectors which intend to hire in 1H 2014 are healthcare and pharmaceutical, shipping and logistics, property and construction, lifestyle, retail, F&B, and oil and gas.

Joshua Yim, CEO of Achieve Group, said based on the findings of companies' business forecast, hiring outlook and projected to increase headcounts, it apprears that the business sentiment is generally more positive compared with the second half of last year. The demand for staff will continue this year and it will still be an employees' market as many companies will be hiring in the first half of the year, although the hiring may not be as agressive as compared with the last six-month period.
