RGE and Singapore Fashion Council launch ‘Responsible Fashion Scholarship’
It is open for Singaporean citizens or permanent residents in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs at recognized institutions.
Singapore-based multinational group RGE and Singapore Fashion Council joined hands to introduce the "Responsible Fashion Scholarship” to support individuals aspiring to shape the future of fashion in the country.
The scholarship, fully funded by RGE with a one-time award of $10,000, is open to Singaporean citizens or permanent residents pursuing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies at recognized institutions.
Applicants focusing on Sustainability in the Fashion or Textile Industry, Circularity in the Fashion Industry, and Sustainable Innovation for Material Science/Research for Fashion/Textile Industry will receive priority consideration.

Recipients will have the flexibility to use the funds for educational expenses and are expected to fulfill certain commitments during their studies, as well as contribute to the local fashion sector within two years of graduation.
RGE's investment in sustainable fashion and textile recycling includes a $3m funding over three years for the Textile & Fashion Federation's sustainability program and a five-year research collaboration with Nanyang Technological University.
