Sembcorp Solar to upskill Singapore's solar industry

It will collaborate with SkillsFuture Singapore for three years.

Sembcorp Solar has been appointed as the first SkillsFuture Queen Bee for the Energy and Power sector to lead the sectors’ skills development through training. 

Queen Bees companies are industry experts who can influence others, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.

Sembcorp Solar will collaborate with SkillsFuture Singapore for three years, delivering more than 1,800 training places and mentoring over 40 proof-of-concept projects focused on solar energy.

In partnership with Sembcorp Academy, Sembcorp Solar will introduce a series of hands-on classroom-based and asynchronous e-learning courses by skill level.

Participating companies will also have opportunities to develop proof-of-concept projects related to solar energy operations.
