SG-based senior product managers earn triple compared to SEA peers
The base salary range for senior product managers ranges from US$8,000 -US$14,200 monthly.
Senior product managers in Singapore earn 3.3x more than those in Indonesia and 2.2x more than in Vietnam, according to data from the “Southeast Asia Startup Talent Trends Report 2024” report of Glints and Monk’s Hill Ventures (MHV).
The base salary range for senior product managers in Singapore is US$8,000 -US$14,200 monthly. Those in the junior and mid-level, meanwhile, have a base monthly salary ranging from US$3,000-US$4,400 and US$4,700-US$6,000, respectively.
In SEA, product managers saw the highest increment among all tech roles last year, with a median increase of 27%.
“This year salaries have remained relatively unchanged across all markets, which is likely due to both a market correction and startups shifting to streamlining product roles, particularly in the early stage to optimize costs and resources,” the report stated.
“The demand for more experienced product managers remains strong, driven by a growing emphasis on user-centric product development tailored to specific market needs,” the report added.
