Singapore Polytechnic, Envision Digital to develop net zero campus, co-innovation lab
The country’s first polytechnic aims to reach net zero emissions by 2045.
Singapore Polytechnic (SP) decarbonisation software firm Envision Digital signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop a Net Zero Campus and Co-Innovation Lab to support SP’s sustainability efforts.
In a joint statement, SP and Envision Digital said they will collaborate to optimise energy efficiency and promote decarbonisation in the campus buildings through monitoring and analytics technology to develop a Net Zero Campus.

Meanwhile, the Net Zero Co-Innovation Lab will use Envision Digital’s Artificial Intelligence of Things operating system EnOS to enable businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises to decarbonise their operations.
The lab will also offer net-zero training for faculty members and students.
“The collaboration enables SP students and staff to leverage cutting-edge technologies to develop net zero and sustainability solutions for the industry,” said SP Principal and CEO Soh Wai Wah.
“Central to our mission of nurturing environmentally conscious talent for the industry is the commitment to offering our students exposure to various technologies and sustainable practices, and industries with a skilled talent pool with invaluable insights to drive transformation,” he added.
