Singapore ranks 6th best country globally for construction workers
The safest country for them is Poland.
Workwear Guru, a construction apparel company, released a study ranking the best and worst countries for construction workers to work in.
According to the study, Singapore is the sixth-best country for construction workers, with an average industry salary of $43,958, a cost of living of $82.63, and an incident rate of only 5%.
The only other Asian country in the top ten is China, in the eighth spot. Meanwhile, Myanmar was cited as having the highest incident rate with 58%.
The study considered salary, cost of living, and safety (incident rate) as three major factors using data from Salaryexplorer, Numbeo, and Lloyd's Register Foundation.
