Singapore's fourth university accepts applications
The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) has started its undergraduate admissions exercise on 20 March 2010.
The first in a series of admissions exercises to select students for the university's first intake in April 2012, SUTD welcomed applications from students who will graduate in 2010 or earlier with a diploma from a local polytechnic and students who have obtained their Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level qualifications (or other equivalent qualifications).
Tuition fees at SUTD for Singapore Citizens in the first intake will be approximately S$11,000 per academic year, with subsequent batches expected to pay higher fees. Up to 100 scholarships will be made available to selected top students for the first intake, as well as other financial aid schemes.
Students enrolled in SUTD can complete their studies in three and a half years under one of the following areas: Architecture and Sustainable Design, Engineering Product Design, Engineering Systems and System Design, and Information Engineering and Design.
