SMU, PwC, and TLA launch initiative to train logistics professionals in data analytics

The programme will select and train 60 professionals each year.

SMU Academy, PwC Singapore, and The Logistics Academy (TLA) launched the Executive Certificate in Successful Data Transformation for the Logistics Sector programme.

The programme aims to equip 60 logistics professionals each year with essential data analytics skills, governance, and protection to drive innovation in the logistics sector.

The programme seeks to address the transformational challenges faced by Singapore’s logistics sector due to disruptions brought by Industry 4.0 technologies such as AI, robotics, automation, and blockchain.

The programme will offer participants over five modules on key areas, including basic critical data elements, data governance concepts, the challenges, trends, and business benefits that underscore the need for good data quality, the importance of data privacy, basic data classification, and data protection concepts.

Participants can tap on SkillsFuture credits to offset the programme fees, while employers will receive salary support from the WSG CCP scheme for eligible participants.
