Informatics Education appoints Loi Hai Poh as executive director and CEO
He came from the education industry with 12 years of extensive experience in the private education sector in Singapore.
The Board of Informatics Education announced the appointment of Loi Hai Poh as executive director and CEO.
Mr Loi, 56, has worked closely with the Work Force Development Agency in Singapore (WDA) and is very familiar with the CPE EduTrust Accreditation and Continuous Education (CET).
Mr Loi has a MSC in Tourism from the University Of Surrey (UK), a BA (Hons) majoring in Geography from NUS and a BA majoring in Government and Public Administration from NTU. He was selected from amongst the candidates identified by an external consultant, according to an Informatics Education report.
He was part-time lecturer in SDH School, Kaplan and AEC College from June 2012 to August 2013 and CEO of Tourism Management Institute of Singapore from 1999 to June 2012.
