Informatics Education appoints two vice presidents
Loh Siew Meng will take charge of Academic and Administration unit while Lim Meng Lin will be responsible for Corporate Planning & Special Projects unit.
The Board of Informatics Education announced the appointment of Loh Siew Meng as vice president, Academic & Administration and Lim Meng Lin as vice president, Corporate Planning & Special Projects.
Mr Loh, 44, is holder of MBA (Finance) from Manchester Business School, thus bringing with him a wealth of work experiences in leadership positions from the private sector and with private education institutions.
In the past, he was Director, Learning and Curriculum Design, Kaplan Learning Institute from 2010 to 2011. Prior to this he was managing director of Anemoni from 2004 to 2010 and area director, Business Process and Quality of Panalpina World Transport from 2002 to 2004.
Meanwhile, Ms Lim, 57, is a holder of degree course in business administration from the NUS, master’s degree in human resource management from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and graduate diploma in personnel management (Gold Award) from SIM is bringing with her 30 years of work experiences and track record of delivering HR best practices and change management initiatives, according to an Informatics Education report.
She was re-designated as vice president, Corporate Planning & Special Projects on 1 April 2013. Before this she was director of the same unit from January 2013 to March 2013 and director, Compensation and Benefits of Nanyang Technological University from 2009 to 2010.
Both are also appointed as ExCo members.
