OCBC upbeat on Venture Corp earnings
It expects the company to gain momentum after a weak Q1.
OCBC Investment Research said that they are confident about Venture Corporation's prospects for 2012 despite macroeconomic uncertainties.
In a report release by the group, they are expecting Venture to pick up progress with new product launches and better traction from several customers, making it likely to be back-end loaded for VMS and its healthy balance sheet (net cash of S$ 309.1 M as of December 31, 2011) would also increase its resilience to weather the volatile business environment.
The report comes after data shows Singapore’s electronics exports increased at an encouraging 3.9% YoY for the combined months of Jan and Feb this year.
