Pharmaceuticals segment feverish with 68.7% rise
This was partly due to a different production mix of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Singapore Economic Development Board reported:
Output of the biomedical manufacturing cluster expanded 54.4% on a year-on-year basis in June 2012. The pharmaceuticals segment surged 68.7%, partly due to a different production mix of active pharmaceutical ingredients. On a year-to-date basis, output of the biomedical manufacturing cluster was 22.0% higher, compared to the same period a year ago.
