Singapore Polytechnic and Microsoft ally for digital manufacturing push

Its goal is to aid Singapore’s target of boosting the sector by 50%.

Microsoft and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) partnered to boost the local manufacturing sector's digital capabilities, aligning with Singapore's goal to grow the sector by 50%.

Lee Hui Li, Singapore Managing Director at Microsoft, emphasised the importance of technology and innovation skills in this collaboration.

Manufacturers can explore their digital future at SP's Advanced Manufacturing Centre (SP AMC), featuring live demonstrations and showcases of Industry 4.0 applications.

Microsoft and SP also invest in capacity building for a skilled manufacturing workforce, offering training courses and accreditations. 

Microsoft solutions were showcased at Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific 2023 (ITAP), held from 18 to 20 October last week.
