Valuetronics FY24 profit up 29.8% despite double-digit revenue drop

Revenue fell 17.1% YoY to HK$1.7b (S$294.25m).

Valuetronics saw its net profit rise 29.8% YoY to HK$159.6m (S$27.6m) in FY24 despite a double-digit decline in its revenue.

In FY24, revenue fell 17.1% YoY to HK$1.7b (S$294.25m).

Industrial & Commercial Electronics accounted for 75.0% of the company’s revenue in 1Q24, whilst consumer electronics comprised 25.0% of the total.

By shipment destination, North America accounted for 42.4% of the revenue. China & Asia-Pacific and Europe accounted for 38.7% and 18.9%, respectively.

With improved net profit, the company declared a HK$0.09 (S$0.016) final dividend and a HK$0.08 ($0.014) special dividend.
