Advance SCT appoints Lee Suan Hiang as director
The Board believes that his experience in various public service sector will be able to contribute effectively to the company towards its development and venture overseas.
Advance SCT announced the appointment of Lee Suan Hiang as non-executive independent director.
Mr Lee, 63, is also a Nominating Committee Chairman and a member of Audit Committee and Renumeration Committee.
Mr Lee had a varied career in public service as deputy managing director of the Economic Development Board and chief executive of SPRING Singapore, National Productivity Board, Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research and National Arts Council before his retirement in 2011.
He is the current president of the EDB Society, chief executive of the Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore, chairman of the Singapore Note & Coin Advisory Committee, chairman of Viking Airtech and advisor to iGlobe Partners and Royal Academy of Dance (UK). He is also a trustee of INSEAD Singapore Fund and a member of the Board of Governors of the Chartered Management Institute, according to an Advance SCT report.
Mr Lee is a Colombo Plan Scholar in Industrial Design (Engineering) and a Fellow of the UK Chartered Management Institute, Chartered Institute of Marketing and the World Academy of Productivity Science; and a graduate of the International Executive Programme at INSEAD (1988), the Leaders in Administration Programme at the Singapore Civil Service College (1997) and the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard University (1998).
