China Great Land Holdings names Diana Seah Yen Goon as CFO
She has more than 30 years of working experience in financial institutions specializing in financing small and medium enterprises.
China Great Land Holdings announced the appointment of Diana Seah Yen Goon as chief financial officer.
Ms Seah, 59, will be responsible for overall financial management, accounting and management reporting, financial controls, corporate governance and compliance requirements.
Ms Seah has more than 30 years of working experience in financial institutions specializing in financing small and medium enterprises. She has held senior positions in Finance, Operations, IT, Credit and Marketing, overseeing operations in South East Asia.
She was formerly leader for Channel Sales, Marketing, Operations and CFO of GE Commercial Financing, a subsidiary ultimately owned by General Electric Company, now owned by Standard Chartered Bank.
Ms. Seah was formerly senior vice president of Finance and Operations of Heller Financial (Singapore), a subsidiary of Heller Financial, Inc, listed on NYSE.
She has taught business finance at local tertiary institutions including Singapore Institute of Management and Polytechnics, according to a China Great Land Holdings report.
Ms. Seah serves in the HR Sub-Committee of St. Luke's Hospital and the Singapore Christian Home.
She is a CPA (Singapore) who holds an Accountancy degree (1976) from the University of Singapore, now called National University of Singapore and a MBA degree (1996) from the Nanyang Technological University.
Ms. Seah was awarded the Singapore Association of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators Gold Medal for her MBA degree. She was trained in Six Sigma and was Green Belt certified.
