The Board of China Powerplus announced the resignation of Desmond Ong Tai Tiong as independent non-executive director.
Mr Ong, 44, was also chairman of the Audit and Nominating Committees and member of Remuneration Committee.
He was appointed to the post 16 July 2004, according to a China Powerplus report.
