Fischer Tech names Peter Chan Kok Wai as executive director

He has 18 years of working experience in Suzhou, from pioneering of factories to managing the operations.

Fischer Tech announced the appointment of Peter Chan Kok Wai as executive director.

Mr Chan, 55, is the group general manager of Fischer Tech. Mr Chan is also concurrently the managing director of Fischer Tech (Suzhou) and Fischer Solution (Suzhou).

Tapping from his background as far back from 1975, he started learning mold making with the EDB program and was selected further training in Japan. After one year of training in Japan, he was attached to Asian Machine, which was subsequently acquired by Hymold, for 22 years. He started as a tool maker for eight years, worked in the secondary process department for eight years and was production manager for another six years. In 1994, he was appointed to set up Hymold in Suzhou and later joined Pacific Plastic in 1997 as assistant general manager. He holds Craftsman Certificate in Mold and Die, Diploma in Production Management and a Diploma in Business Management, according to a Fischer Tech report.
