Giken Sakata Singapore names Anthony Kuek Eng Chye as director

He is currently a senior advisor to ministers and senior officials of the Government of Indonesia.

Giken Sakata Singapore announced the appointment of Anthony Kuek Eng Chye as independent non-executive director.

Mr Kuek, 66, will also be chairman of Remuneration Committee and a member of Audit Committee.

He is currently a Senior Advisor to Ministers and Senior Officials of the Government of Indonesia in Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Attorney General and Indonesia Investment Coordination Board since 2011. He also took this place from 2002 to 2005. Before this, he was senior official in Asian Development Bank responsible for project appraisals in finance, energy, environment and infrastructure sectors covering large number of countries including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Philippines, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam from 1980 to 2002, according to a Giken Sakata Singapore report.
