GP Batteries International names Leung Pak Chuen as executive director

He has been in the electronics manufacturing industry for over 35 years.

GP Batteries International announced the appointment of Leung Pak Chuen as executive director.

Mr Leung, 64, will be responsible for the management of corporate affairs and initiatives, and the implementation of the board's decisions, according to a GP Batteries International report.

Mr Leung joined Gold Peak Group in 1981 and has been appointed executive director since 1990. He is also the executive vice chairman of GP Industries. Mr Leung has been in the electronics manufacturing industry for over 35 years and has played an important role in setting up major joint ventures in China for Gold Peak Group in mid-1980's. Mr Leung is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and The International Institute of Management. He graduated from the Chu Hai College, Hong Kong with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
