JEP Holdings appoints Soh Chee Siong as executive director
He has more than 30 years of aerospace component manufacturing experience.
JEP Holdings announced the appointment of Soh Chee Siong as executive director.
Mr Soh, 57, joined JEP Precision Engineering, subsidiary of the group, in October 2011 as CEO. He started his career with Hamilton Sundstrand in 1975. Over the years, he rose through the ranks and his last held position was as the Plant Manager of the Changi Plant. During his tenure in Hamilton Sundstrand, he was instrumental in setting up Plant 3 in Bedok and Changi Plant in 2000 & 2005 respectively, in support of their expansion plan.
Mr Soh joined Rolls Royce Singapore Pte Ltd as the Operations Director in April 2010. He led a new team and was responsible in setting up the new facility in Seletar Aerospace Park, which focuses in the manufacturing of Wide Chord Fan Blade for the Trent Engine, according to a JEP Holdings report.
Mr Soh holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business & Management Studies from University of Bradford. He also holds the Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance (ACCA), Specialist Diploma in Supply Chain Management (NYP), and a Certified Quality Manager (SQI).
