His appointment follows the completion of the PNE Micron's acquisition of 50% shareholding interest in SMC Industrial, wherein he is managing director.
PNE Micron Holdings announced the appointment of Koh Mia Seng as executive director.
Mr Koh, 50, will be overseeing the operations of the company's new business of trading of commodities, which include copper, stainless steel and other special alloy, according to a PNE Micron Holdings report.
He was managing director of SMC Industrial from March 1994 to February 2015. He is currently director of SMC Holdings since May 2009.
