Lim Kim Hai Electric promotes Chia Ah Heng as deputy chairman

He will hand over his overall day to day duties and responsibilities as managing director to Ong Wee Heng, the newly promoted CEO.

The Board of Tai Sin Electric announced the appointment of Lim Kim Hai as deputy chairman.

Mr Chia, 70, has overall responsibility for development and implementation of the Lim Kim Hai Group’s vision, strategic agenda and business plan together with the CEO, including formulating business strategies and policies to achieve established goals and objectives determined by the Board of Directors, according to a Tai Sin Electric report.

Mr Chia joined Lim Kim Hai Electric in 1969 and has more than four decades of sales and management experience in the electric distribution business. He has been its managing director since July 2008. His responsibilities include setting the overall strategic direction, mission and policy; overseeing the financial, general administration and quality system of the company and its subsidiaries.
