Petra Foods names Francis Benedict Ryan as CFO

He has strong grounding in finance with up to 47 years of work experience.

The Board of Petra Foods announced the appointment of Francis Benedict Ryan as chief financial officer.

Mr Ryan, 65, served as an officer for various companies for up to 18 years, which included being CIO for Grace Cocoa/ADM Cocoa (1994-96) and working in W.R. Grace & Companys Cocoa Products Division (1976-1981) where he rose to the position of CFO. His strong cocoa and chocolate industry experience, financial expertise, professionalism and 10 year track record with the company, as the Director, Business Development & Special Projects, makes him eminently suited for the role of CFO, according to a Petra Foods report.

Prior to Bens appointment as Chief Financial Officer of the Group, his designation in the Company was director of Business Development and Special Projects.
