Sapphire's Chief Investment Officer steps down

Michael Chua Cheow Khoon resigned to pursue personal interests.

The Board of Sapphire announced the resignation of Michael Chua Cheow Khoon as Chief Investment Officer.

Mr Chua, 62, was the head of investment team to assist the company in seeking and reviewing new investment opportunities, packaging new investment opportunities to meet company's investment threshold and guidelines, ensuring smooth execution of investment, monitoring performances of investments, and planning of IPO for investee companies, according to a Saphire report.

He was appointed to the post 15 March 2007.
