Schneider Electric names new cluster president
Yoon Young Kim will drive the manufacturing capabilities of the firm’s Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei cluster.
Schneider Electric has appointed Yoon Young Kim as its new cluster president of Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, according to an announcement.
In his new role, Kim will be working to drive the expansion and manufacturing capabilities of the Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei cluster. He will be focusing on high-growth potential areas such as microgrids, whilst helping clients within the cluster operate more sustainably.
Kim brings with him 20 years of experience in energy management and lighting sectors, spanning several industry segments in South America, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East. He previously served as the cluster president for Vietnam and Cambodia for four years.
The previous cluster president, Damien Dhellemmes, will be taking up a new role as senior vice president for digital energy – commercial at Schneider Electric.
