Sim Mong Keang resigns as WE Holdings' managing director and CEO

He resigned voluntarily to facilitate the scaling down of his involvement in the Group's businesses and to pursue other unrelated business interests.

The Board of WE Holdings announced the resignation of Sim Mong Keang as managing director and chief executive director effective 31 August 2013.

Mr Sim, 43, is responsible for the strategic planning and development of the Group's business, and spearheading the expansion and growth of the Group.

He will remain as a consultant to the Company for a period of three years to advise the Company on the operations and development of the Groups components business, as well as, any merger and acquisition activity, according to a WE Holdings report.

He was appointed to the post 2 June 2010.
