Star Pharmaceutical appoints Xu Zhi Bin as Executive Director

Mr. Xu Zhi Bin has over 16 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in sales and marketing.

The Board of Star Pharmaceutical announced the appointment of Xu Zhi Bin as Executive Director.

Mr Xu, 40, will oversee business operations and strategic business development of the Group.

Between 2005 and 2012, he was the General Manager of Beijing Jiuzhou Jikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where he was responsible for overall strategic planning and direction of the company, including the day-to-day management, financial planning and budgeting, sales and marketing, product development and management, and long-term investment strategy of the company.

Prior to that between 2000 and 2005, he was the Director of Sales of Hainan Tongyong Sanyang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the company. Between 1996 and 2000, he was the Sales Manager of Shenzhen Jianhua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Mr. Xu graduated from the Capital University of Medical Sciences 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in clinical medicine.
