Star Pharmaceutical names Gu Yan as Executive Director

He has over 14 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Board of Star Pharmaceutical announced the appointment of Gu Yan as Executive Director.

Gu Yan, 37, will assist the Executive Chairman to run the Group's sales operations.

Between 2009 to 2012, Mr. Gu was the general manager of Beijing Ji Kang Li Tong Pharmaceutical Technology, responsible for daily operation of the Company. From 2005 to 2009, he was appointed the Director of Sales for Beijing Ji Kang Li Tong Pharmaceutical Technology, Mr. Gu was responsible for marketing and sales activities, production investment, processing cooperation activities as well as in charge of new products research and development work of the company nationwide. Between 2003 to 2005 he was the sales manager for Kun Ming Pharmaceutical Group Sales, according to a Star Pharmaceutical report.
