Tai Sin Electric names Bernard Lim Boon Hock as executive director and CEO

He will take over the duties and responsibilities of Bobby Lim Chye Huat, who steps down due to the company's succession planning.

The Board of Tai Sin Electric announced the appointment of Bernard Lim Boon Hock as executive director and chief executive officer effective 1 July 2013.

Mr Lim, 43, has overall responsibility for development and implementation of the Group’s vision, strategic agenda, and business plan together with key management. Has to achieve targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence as established by the Board, according to a Tai Sin Electric report.

Mr Lim was appointed as executive director since September 1997. He was promoted to chief operating officer of the Group in June 2003 and has held that position to date. His responsibilities as COO includes the general operations of the Group, strategic planning and execution of policies adopted by the Board.
