Vicplas International appoints James Ng as CFO

He has been in the accounting profession for 23 years with several years undertaking senior management roles for listed companies.

Vicplas International announced the appointment of James Ng as chief financial officer effective 24 November 2014.

Mr Ng, 46, is professionally qualified for this position as he holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University and he is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant. In addition, he is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors, according to a Vicplas International report.

From June 2004 till September 2006, he was the financial controller of GRP Ltd responsible for the finance, accounting and treasury functions. Thereafter, he was the financial controller of Global Industries Asia Pacific till September 2010 and the CFO of EMS Energy Limited from October 2010 to April 2011. Prior to joining the company in November 2014, he was appointed the CFO of Bhatia International.
